Somatic Trauma Healing & Integration

Carrying trauma and living in activated nervous system states has been shown to lead to a multitude of chronic health and mental health conditions. It’s so important to address what’s happened to us so that we can be free from the confines of nervous system dysregulation and be able to tap into the self healing capacity of our body, mind and soul.

I use a method called Somatic Experiencing which was developed by Peter Levine. It’s a beautiful therapy of being present with your body & full experience. We work with that experience in the moment as it arises & the power of healing this way is profound.

Somatic work is so very important when it comes to healing/ integrating trauma. The body is where we store it all. Trauma is big energy and as we very gently work to release that energy, then we are able to step into the world as our true self and tap into our innate vitality.
