Feeling Stressed? Try Adrenal Support

Adrenal SAP is one of our favourite adrenal support supplements. This formula is all about helping you adapt to the inevitable in modern life: STRESS!

Whether you are suffering from too much on-the-go, low energy, or mood disorders related to stress – this formula could help. It’s chock full of some of the best herbal adaptogens plus a unique combination of nutrients to support the body’s adaptation to stress. The ingredients help to regulate what is known as the hypothalamic pituitary adrenal axis (HPA axis) – which is the brain’s communication with the body’s hormonal release. The HPA axis plays a role in the release of stress hormones like cortisol, and can become disrupted under chronic stress conditions. Unfortunately, we all know that chronic stress is a reality in modern day life, which is exactly why a formula like Adrenal SAP can be so useful!

Ingredient Spotlight: Holy Basil

One of the superstar herbs found in Adrenal SAP is Holy Basil.

Holy basil has been used historically in Ayurvedic medicine, and has recently gained popularity in Western countries. It is known as an adaptogen, meaning it helps your body adapt to stress, both mental & physical.

Research tells us Indian Ayurvedic Practitioners have been using it for centuries likely because it has several useful properties such as anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, anti-stress and analgesic effects.

Holy basil is known for its anti-stress and anti-anxiety effects, and has actually been shown to improve some markers for Generalized Anxiety Disorder.

Did you Know?

Did you know that a regular bedtime and wake up time is helpful in regulating cortisol levels?

Simply go to bed at a similar time every night (preferably by 10pm) and over time this should help you naturally regulate cortisol patterns. This is because cortisol has a diurnal pattern, meaning that it has a specific variation in levels produced every 24 hours, beginning with an elevation in the early morning and a subsequent decrease throughout the rest of the day. By regulating your bedtime, you are encouraging a normal diurnal pattern.
