The Ginger Lemongrass Mojito

Don’t let your next girls night throw you off track! This drink is a fresh twist on an old favourite:

The Ginger Lemongrass Mojito

Ingredients

Mojito drinks served on wooden planks

  • Lime quarters, 2-3
  • Fresh ginger, shredded or chopped (or a splash of ginger beer)
  • Fresh mint leaves
  • Lemongrass, 1 stalk
  • Club soda, as required to top up
  • Rum or vodka, 1 shot
  • Agave or honey, optional to sweeten
  • Ice cubes

Method:

  1. Using a muddler or other utensil, smash up the lime quarters, ginger, mint leaves and lemongrass
  2. Add ice cubes
  3. Pour in the shot of rum or vodka
  4. Top with soda water
  5. Garnish with a lime slice

Remember to drink responsibly!
