Where there’s a will there’s a way! I love egg nog but my body’s not always a fan of dairy or eggs. Try this recipe for an egg free & dairy free egg nog! *Rum optional
- 1 frozen banana
- ½ cup raw cashews soak in hot water for 15 min then strain & discard water
- 1½ cups Coconut milk
- 3 medjool dates, pitted
- 1 tbs honey
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
- ¼ tsp cinnamon
- ⅛ tsp cloves
- Pinch of salt
- Place all ingredients in high speed blender until well mixed and desired consistency has been reached.
- Serve egg nog warm or chilled (with ice) and always sprinkle with some nutmeg for addition flavor and aesthetics!
