recipe: Dr. Kent’s detox smoothie

Get your antioxidants, liver and colon support with this detox smoothie that combines fiber, antioxidants, adaptogens, protein, essential fatty acids and much more!

detox smoothIngredients

  • 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 scoop of Douglas ultra Protein Powder (Vanilla flavoured)
  • 1/2 large beet, skinned and cubed
  • 1/4 avocado
  • 1/2 tbsp of coconut oil
  • 1 tsp of nutra sea fish oil
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 cup of Spinach
  • 1 tsp matcha green tea
  • 1/2 tbsp cinamon
  • 1/2 tbsp cacoa powder
  • 2 dates, pitted
  • 2 tbsp of ground flax
  • 1 serving of powdered probiotics
  • water or milk alternative (rice, coconut milk etc) as needed.


*1 tsp of: mucuna power, white maca root, mesquite powder

One step method:

Mix in a hearty blender until consistency that you like is achieved.  May be enough for  1 meal + snack, or 2 meals.  If saving for later add flax just before consuming otherwise the mix will become very thick and gelatinous.
