Go green with these holiday delight. This sweet treat is balanced with good fats found in nuts, seeds & coconut oil as well as some detoxifying quality of spirulina.
- ½ cup coconut oil
- ½ cup of honey (thick)
- ½ cup raw honey
- 20 dates
- ½ cup walnuts
- ½ cup of pumpkin seeds
- 2 tbsp spirulina
- 1 tsp of turmeric
- 1 tsp of cinnamon
- 2 pinches of sea salt
- ½ cup of chopped brazil nuts
Combine all ingredients EXCEPT brazil nuts into food processor / vitamix etc. Combine until thoroughly blended.
Remove into bowl and mix in brazil nuts.
Form into balls, press into pan or muffin tins.
Chill for about an hour before eating.
Best to serve when chilled.
